Music Ministry

The music program at Faith Baptist Church offers God-honoring, Christ-centered, Holy Spirit inspired, and Bible based hymns and songs of praise.  Our music ministry is to all ages, with a children's choir, our teen and adult choirs.  It is our prayer that our music will praise the Lord and bless your heart.  Please come and join us in worship this Sunday.

Mission Statement

We, the Department of Music at Faith Baptist Church, exist for the purpose of leading the full congregation in worship.  In so doing, we strive to present music that exalts the name of Jesus Christ, focuses on the cross upon which He died, proclaims that He has risen from the dead, and testifies that He is preparing a heavenly home for those who have accepted Him as Lord and Savior.

Music Philosophy

Music is a means of expression from the heart of man to the heart of God.  For this cause, we must continually guard our music from becoming secularized in it's message and style.  We are living in a day when heresy and false doctrine are infiltrating churches.  This usually begins with the wrong kind of music.

At FBC, you will find music that is (1) Biblically based and doctrinally correct, and (2) is stylistically conservative, yet heart-warming.  We believe music that is properly presented to the Lord with the right spirit will yield the by-product of an uplifted audience.
